Anna Fitzgerald
Anna FitzGerald studied fine art painting at Canterbury in 1997. Since then Anna has taught painting for many years focusing her attention on autistic students, youth offenders and the mentally ill. Working with societies marginalised Anna enjoyed seeing the importance of art for those who feel disengaged. Three years ago she made the decision to give up work and focus full time on her art working from her studio in Exmouth.
The art work whether it is a large sculpture, a small miniature, a painting or a line drawing is easily recognisable because it is joyous and vibrant, she catches fleeting emotions. The work has a Quirky spontaneity that is refreshing and fun.
