Rita is a South West based artist who holds weekly classes at her Chard studio and takes commissions  for portraits in pastel or pencil. Rita also give tutorials to local art groups.
“I work in oil, pastel, acrylic and collage.

 

I am inspired by the beautiful West country scenery and enjoy painting landscapes , woodland scenes and seascapes.  Over the last few years I have ventured into spray can painting and am delighted with the wonderful atmospheric effects that can be achieved, I like to combine this technique with acrylic paints and textured material to create 3-D effects”.
