Growing up in Glasgow, David enjoyed drawing the animal exhibits and looking at the paintings at the Kelvin Hall Art Gallery & Museum.

Aged12, David moved to London and studied art to ‘A’ Level.  A career in logistics brought David to Sidmouth in Devon over 25 years ago.  
Inspired by the sea and local landscape David has developed his own style of using watercolour on mount board coated with several layers of gesso.
